Each shelf is divided into heating zones with energy-saving Spot On technology that keeps the overhead ribbon heating elements turned off until food is placed beneath them on the shelf, triggering the elements to automatically turn on and reach ideal holding temperatures within 10 seconds. At the same time, the heated base switches from energy saving mode to set temperature levels. The unit's open front makes it perfect for self-service use at convenience stores, snack bars, concession stands, and quick serve kiosks, while its powerful heating capabilities also make it a great choice for kitchen-to-server holding. A built-in LCD display scans and displays each zone's settings for easy monitoring, and the hinged glass side panels swing out to make cleaning a breeze.
