Randell's 38" chef base is designed for the intense heat of commercial kitchens. The self-contained unit keeps ingredients ice-cold right where you cook, while its reinforced marine-edge top supports up to 225 lbs/ft of countertop equipment. Performance & Durability:
- The refrigeration system uses an electronically controlled R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which provides precise and environmentally-friendly cooling.
- The front-breathing, right-mounted 1/4 HP compressor allows for easy installation, with the unit able to be placed flush against walls or curb-mounted.
- The one-piece stainless steel marine top, with a 12-gauge sub-top, is designed to withstand the weight of heavy equipment without bending or flexing.
- The CFC-free polyurethane insulation is foamed-in-place, which helps to lock in the cold air and save energy.
