Product Description

Series "DSS" – Model DSS08A • NSF Listed • Ships KD This 7 ft John Boos work table is built for high-volume bakeries, restaurants, and test kitchens. It combines an ultra-durable Northern Hard Rock Maple top with the easy-sanitation benefits of a stainless-steel base and shelf. The rock-solid, food-safe surface can withstand years of daily use, from rolling dough to plating entrées. A factory Varnique conversion varnish finish is available for a water-resistant top, but note this voids NSF certification.

Key Features:

  • The table has a 1-3/4" thick edge-grain Northern Hard Rock Maple butcher-block top.
  • The table comes with a factory-applied penetrating oil finish, making it ready for immediate food contact.
  • The table has a 4" coved riser on the back and both ends, which keeps flour, tools, and ingredients from falling off the table.
  • The spacious 84" x 30" surface (approximately 21 square feet) is ideal for sheeting pastry or prepping large orders.
  • The table has heavy-duty 16 gauge stainless steel legs with a six-leg design for tables 7 feet and longer.
  • The table includes an adjustable 18 gauge stainless steel undershelf, which can be used to store mixers, bins, and sheet pans.
  • The table has 1" stainless steel bullet feet that can level the table on uneven floors.
  • The table ships knocked-down (KD) to reduce freight costs and can be quickly and easily assembled.
  • The table is NSF certified for use in all commercial food-service environments.

Compatible Accessories (sold separately):

  • Stainless steel or maple drawers with optional locks are available to provide additional storage space.
  • Heavy-duty swivel casters can be added, either with all casters swiveling or a mix of swivel and rigid casters.
  • You can choose to have a single overhead shelf or a double-decker overhead shelf system.
  • An overhead pot rack is an option to keep your most-used pots and pans within easy reach.

Care & Maintenance:

  • Regularly apply a food-grade mineral oil to the maple top to prevent it from drying out or cracking.
  • Clean the stainless steel components using only mild, non-chloride detergents and soft cloths.
  • Promptly wipe up any spills. Do not allow standing water or acidic foods to remain on the surface.
