Hand-crafted by John Boos & Co., Est. 1887, the Cucina Classico seamlessly blends Boos Block™ heritage with modern stainless-steel resilience. A 1 ½" thick, edge-grain American Cherry top delivers signature warmth and chef-trusted durability, while the open stainless base adds professional strength and a streamlined, contemporary look—perfect for demanding home kitchens, bakeries and boutique food service spaces that need extra prep, plating or serving room. Varnique provides a semi-gloss, moisture-resistant barrier. For direct chopping, use a separate cutting board. Care & Maintenance:

  • Clean the Varnique top with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid using abrasive pads or cleaners that contain chlorine.
  • Never let water stand on the wood surface or stainless steel frame.
  • Clean the stainless steel legs with a soft cloth and a non-chloride stainless steel cleaner. Always follow the direction of the polish lines.
  • If surface corrosion appears, use Bar Keepers Friend® with a damp, non-scratch pad, then rinse and dry the area.
