Product Description
DSS Series work tables are built for serious food-service, bakery, and hospitality environments. This 48-inch model combines a premium Northern Hard Rock Maple top with a rugged stainless-steel base, creating a sanitary, rock-solid workstation. The table arrives knocked-down for quick on-site assembly and years of dependable service. A clear Varnique finish is available by special order, though this option voids the NSF certification.
Key Features:
- The tabletop is made of 1 ¾" thick Northern Hard Rock Maple, which is naturally durable and easy on knives.
- The penetrating oil finish enhances the grain of the wood and maintains NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) approval.
- The 4" coved riser on the back and both ends helps contain flour, dough, and food juices.
- The 16 GA (gauge) stainless-steel legs have welded gussets for superior stability.
- The adjustable 18 GA (gauge) stainless-steel undershelf allows you to keep small appliances and ingredients close at hand.
- The 1" stainless adjustable bullet feet help level the table on uneven floors.
- The table ships knocked-down to reduce freight cost, and it can be easily assembled with bolts.
Care & Maintenance:
- Periodically re-oil the maple top using John Boos Mystery Oil or an equivalent food-safe mineral oil.
- Clean the stainless steel components with non-chloride cleaners. Wipe along the polish lines and dry the surface immediately.
- Avoid using harsh abrasives or scouring pads, as they can scratch the top or damage the stainless steel's protective layer.
