Designed for the rigors of commercial kitchens, bakeries, and butcher shops, the John Boos DSS02 provides a durable, food-safe work surface made of stainless steel for easy maintenance. Whether you need a surface for dough production or everyday food preparation, this 60-inch workstation is ready to streamline your workflow as soon as it arrives.

Key Features:
- 1 ¾" thick Northern Hard Rock Maple top with edge-grain construction for superior strength and blade-friendly performance
- Factory-applied, food-safe penetrating oil finish keeps the wood nourished and meets NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) compliance standards
- Integrated 4" coved riser on the back and both ends to help contain ingredients and prevent wall splatter
- Heavy-duty stainless steel base with an adjustable 18-gauge undershelf for customizable storage
- 16-gauge stainless steel legs with 1" adjustable bullet feet for easy leveling on uneven floors
- Ships in a knocked-down (KD) format to reduce freight costs, and assembles quickly with basic tools
- NSF Certified, making it suitable for use in all regulated food-service environments
Care & Maintenance:
- Regularly re-oil the maple top using Boos Mystery Oil or a butcher block oil approved for food contact.
- Avoid using harsh detergents or bleach on the wood. Instead, wipe it clean with mild soap and warm water, then dry it thoroughly.
- For the stainless steel base, use non-chloride cleaners like Bar Keepers Friend. Wipe in the direction of the grain and dry the surface immediately.
- Never use steel wool or abrasive pads on either the wood or stainless steel surfaces.
Features:
- The drawer is made of stainless steel, and it can be locked or left unlocked.
- The casters on the unit can swivel, and some of them can be locked to keep the unit in place.
- You can choose to have either a single overhead shelf or a double overhead shelf.
- The unit includes a rack mounted on the ceiling to hang pots and pans.
