Product Description

This 9-foot John Boos trimming table is engineered for heavy daily use in butcher shops, grocery prep rooms, and high-volume commercial kitchens. It features a ¾" reversible HDPE cutting surface and a 6" removable stainless steel backsplash, all of which are NSF listed for safety and sanitation. The rugged, fully welded stainless steel base provides the durability and convenience that professionals demand. If you need a single-piece poly top or custom sizing, Boos can build to your specifications at no additional charge.

Key Features:

  • The ¾-inch thick high-density polyethylene (HDPE) top is reversible, approved by NSF (National Sanitation Foundation), and easy on knife edges.
  • The 6-inch rear backsplash is made of type 300 stainless steel and can be removed without tools for thorough cleaning.
  • The heavy-duty frame is made of 18-gauge, 1.5-inch square-tube stainless steel with TIG-welded and satin-polished #4 seams.
  • The side and rear bracing is made of 1.25-inch diameter tubular stainless steel for rock-solid stability.
  • The units with a height of 7 feet or more have six 16-gauge, 1.625-inch diameter stainless steel legs, each with a 1-inch adjustable bullet foot for perfect leveling.
  • The poly top is retained by welded clips and can be removed in seconds for sanitation or replacement.
  • The unit is shipped fully assembled (welded set-up) and a knock-down version is available upon request.
  • The product is NSF certified for food-contact safety.

Optional Accessories (sold separately):

  • A stainless steel drawer, available with or without a lock.
  • A lower shelf made of either poly or stainless steel.
  • Heavy-duty locking casters that can be added to the unit.
  • Meat boat racks, which provide extra storage space.

Care & Maintenance:

  • Gently clean the poly work surface with warm water and a mild detergent. Sanitize the surface according to local regulations.
  • For stainless steel components, wipe along the direction of the polish lines using a soft cloth and a non-chloride cleaner, such as Bar Keepers Friend.
  • Avoid using abrasive pads, wire brushes, or cleaners that contain bleach or quaternary salts, as these can damage the surface.
  • Rinse the surface thoroughly and dry it to preserve the protective chromium-oxide layer.
