Hand-built in Italy with refractory firebrick and a patented pentagonal chamber, the Univex DOME51P delivers blistering heat, rapid recovery, and consistent results—while its heavy insulation keeps the exterior cool to the touch for a safer, more comfortable kitchen. The DOME51P ships with durable black iron walls, but Univex offers a full palette of custom exterior finishes — red or yellow brick, 10×10 tiles, marble, metal leaf, mosaic, natural stone, and more. Installation & clearance:
- The appliance requires a dedicated natural-draft 8" (200 mm) flue. If mandated by local code, a maximum 200–300 CFM assist fan may be used.
- Maintain a minimum clearance to combustibles of 6" (15 cm) on the sides and back, and 16" (41 cm) on the top.
- Set the appliance on a non-combustible floor, with at least 32" (81 cm) of clearance around the perimeter and 40" (102 cm) in front.
- Ensure a ventilation opening of at least 31 in² (200 cm²) is maintained beneath the appliance stand.
