Product Description

Built for busy diners, food trucks, and concession lines, the Comstock-Castle EG30 offers a 30" W x 20" D cooking surface with 64,000 BTU of power. Featuring a polished 5/8" steel plate and an oversize grease-management system, this NSF & ETL listed unit provides 600 in² of evenly-heated cook space to keep service moving from the first breakfast order to the last late-night smash burger.

Key Features:

  • The griddle plate is 5/8 inches thick, highly polished steel to minimize sticking and make cleaning easier.
  • The cooking surface is 30 inches wide and 20 inches deep (600 square inches) with 4 independent manual controls for precise temperature control in different zones.
  • Four 16,000 BTU burners (one every 7.5 inches) provide a total of 64,000 BTU for rapid heat recovery.
  • 3-inch splash guards on the back and ends keep grease and debris off surrounding equipment.
  • The 4.5-inch wide, front-mounted cold-zone grease trough drains through a 3.5-inch by 1-inch slot into a large removable drawer.
  • The 3-inch stainless steel bull-nose landing provides a shelf for plating and protects the controls.
  • The heavy-gauge welded frame has an aluminized steel exterior for long-lasting durability.
  • The ¾-inch rear gas connection includes a factory-installed regulator and standing pilots.
  • It can be installed with 0 inches of clearance to non-combustible surfaces (4 inches to the sides and 5 inches to the rear for combustible surfaces).

  • The griddle sections have grooves for cooking steak and panini sandwiches.
  • Upgrade kits are available with thermostatic or safety-pilot controls.
  • Gas hoses, grill scrapers, and cleaning supplies are also available.
