Keep plated meals, sheet pans, or hotel pans hot, safe, and ready for service with Hoshizaki's ENERGY STAR® qualified Steelheart HC1A-HS-HS pass-thru heated holding cabinet. Designed for tight footprints yet built for the rigors of high-volume kitchens, this 27.5-inch-wide unit provides full-service access from the cookline and the service side.
Key Features:
- The unit has a pass-through configuration with field-reversible half-height stainless steel doors on both sides for faster loading and unloading.
- The top-mounted high-temperature fan and heating element deliver even 140 – 180 °F airflow through a ducted design, ensuring no cold spots.
- The solid-state digital controller features a bright LED display, high/low temperature and voltage alarms, and the ability to toggle between °F and °C.
- The 2-3/8" foamed-in-place CFC-free insulation locks in heat and keeps the exterior surfaces cooler to the touch.
- The unit includes three (3) heavy-duty epoxy wire shelves (21.25" × 30.75") and can accommodate up to 12 full-size sheet pans or 20-24 tray slides (optional).
- The all-stainless interior, plus stainless front, sides, and top, provide unmatched durability and quick sanitation.
- The exclusive stepped door design protects the snap-in magnetic gasket from damage during loading.
- The self-closing doors stay open past 90°, feature integrated locks, and have a one-piece flush-mount handle.
- The energy-efficient 6000 K LED interior light activates when a door opens, providing clear product visibility.
- The unit ships on 4" polyolefin casters (front two locking) with a 10 ft NEMA 5-15P cord, allowing for easy rolling and plug-in installation.

- The unit comes with 3 epoxy coated shelves, which are included.
- Stainless steel shelves are available as an optional accessory.
- You can choose from 1, 2, 4, 6, or 8 pan slide kits (full-size) as optional accessories.
- A right-hinge foot pedal is available as an optional accessory.
- You can choose to have 6-inch adjustable legs instead of casters as an optional accessory.
