Hoshizaki KM-2200SWJ3 Ice Machines

Product Description

The KM-2200SWJ3 ice machine is designed for high-volume commercial environments like busy kitchens, hotels, hospitals, and institutions. It produces a remarkable 2,221 pounds of crystal-clear crescent ice per day, all while occupying a compact 48-inch bin space. The self-contained, water-cooled condenser helps keep heat and noise away from guests and staff. If demand increases, the machine can be stacked with a second head to double production to 4,442 pounds of ice per day.

Why It Beats Conventional Cubers:

  • Produces a massive 2,221 lbs of ice per 24 hours at 70°F air and 50°F water (2,200 lbs AHRI at 90°F/70°F), outpacing traditional ice makers.
  • Features a stackable design that allows you to double your ice production without increasing the footprint of the machine.
  • Equipped with a KMEdge™ dual-sided stainless steel evaporator that enables faster ice cycles and higher energy efficiency.
  • Produces individual crescent-shaped ice cubes (1 1/8" W × 1 1/2" H × 1 1/2" D) that resist clumping, displace more beverage, and melt slowly for superior drink quality.
  • CycleSaver™ technology allows the machine to produce the same amount of ice in roughly half the cycles of traditional ice makers, reducing wear and energy use.
  • The EverCheck™ system provides audible alerts and diagnostic codes to facilitate quick service calls when needed.
  • Features a rugged stainless steel exterior with front-removable panels for easy, single-technician servicing.
  • Utilizes the environmentally responsible R-404A refrigerant.
  • Holds NSF and UL listings, ensuring safe and code-compliant operation for food service.

Installation Parameters:

  • The surrounding air temperature should be between 45 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • The water temperature should be between 45 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • The water pressure should be between 10 and 113 pounds per square inch (PSIG).
  • The voltage range should be between 187 and 253 volts.
  • Provide at least 6 inches of clearance at the rear, sides, and top of the unit for servicing.
