The Hatco SAL-1 Electric Salamander offers high-speed finishing, broiling, and holding capabilities right on your countertop or wall. This compact yet powerful unit provides instant, targeted heat for browning, glazing, melting cheese, quick grilling, and keeping entrées at the perfect serving temperature. With the flexibility to mount it to the wall or use the included 4-inch legs, the Hatco SAL-1 gives chefs precise control without adding unwanted kitchen heat or energy costs.

  • The three independently controlled quartz heating elements in the upper housing provide pinpoint heat.
  • The Plate-Detection Bar automatically turns on the elements when a plate is in place and turns them off when the plate is removed, saving energy and improving safety.
